Beneath the sandy shores and low tides lies a predator that is commonly called the Moon Shell. It’s one of the snails responsible for the circular holes we strangely ponder as our feet saunter through the sandy beaches. But like all species, this snail has its day and often, empty shells are washed up on beaches and collected. The collectors in Indonesia spend hours in the hot sun walking the beaches collecting, polishing and creating with various types of shells. That’s how beautiful, handmade pieces like our Sea Shell Necklace are born. Although absolutely striking around the neck for that very special jaw-dropping occasion, it looks artistically amazing as a display.
